I make photographs, video, and drawings to preserve elements that are in a constant state of disappearance and flux. My photographs communicate through a personalized urban phenomenology: oil slicks, vapor trails, sidewalk cracks, rain puddles. The abstract forms imitate forms found in nature, but also tell something new about the connections between globalization, land loss climate change, and the widening gap between micro and macro life.
